Trek Grade
This section is designed to help you choose the trek appropriate to your level of fitness and walking ability. Each trek is graded from "A", the easiest; to "D", the toughest. The grading is only a guide, and each person must apply common sense and their own experience in deciding what they are capable of.
Suggested Clothing List
1. 5 pairs socks 3 thin, and 2 thick
2. 4 pairs underwear
3. 2 woolen shirts-1 long sleeve, and 2 short sleeve
4. 2 pairs or skirts-Women may prefer a mid-calf length skirt
5. 2 pairs trekking paints and one short
6. 1 woolen sweater
7. 1 down jacket - (vest optional), windproof jacket or padded jacket
8. 1 pair well broken in hiking boots or running shoes as many people now use
9. 1 pair camp shoes such as flip-flops or tennis shoes
10. 1 warm sleeping bag
11. 1 pair sun/snow glasses (dark)
12. 4 T-shirts and sleepwear
13. Hat for cold and sun
14. 1 pair mittens or gloves (optional)
15. Light weight waterproof gear
16. Toilet articles: towel, laundry soap, lip balm and hairbrush, etc.
17. Medical supplies: antibiotics, bandages etc.
18. 1 water bottle and water purifying tablet containing iodine
19. Camera and cleaning tissues, etc.
20. Notebook, pen, passport photos.
21. Kits bag and small day pack
